Resident Manager - The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center Help guide others on their journey to recovery while making a meaningful impact in your community About the Role The Resident Manager plays a vital role in maintaining the integrity of our rehabilitation program by ensuring our philosophy, standards, and practices create an effective and supportive environment for recovery. Compensation & Benefits Starting wage: $15/hour On-site housing may be available at the Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) Professional development opportunities Meaningful work helping others transform their lives Core Responsibilities Enforce and maintain house rules and facility security Lead weekly house meetings and new resident orientations Supervise medication administration and documentation Coordinate and supervise work therapy assignments Plan and implement leisure activities Respond to emergencies following established procedures Conduct regular bed checks and substance screening tests Maintain detailed documentation and reports Provide safe transportation for beneficiaries as needed Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of managerial experience (or equivalent combination of training/experience) Valid driver's license with ability to qualify for The Salvation Army insurance Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in basic math and data analysis Physical ability to lift/move up to 20 pounds Preferred College degree Experience in rehabilitation or recovery services Background in social services or related field Skills & Abilities Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills Ability to maintain detailed records and write clear reports Strong organizational and leadership capabilities Capacity to work independently and make sound decisions Computer proficiency for electronic documentation
