Key Responsibilities

Provides quality support for assembly, shipping and machining.Primary objectives are to reduced external and internal PPM. The quality technician is the Subject Matter Expert on a wide-variety of plant operations. Requires on the spot problem-solving and root cause analysis. The Quality Technician III reports directly to the Quality Manager and role is based on site at our Union Grove facility. Travel is typically not required.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Performs a variety of duties to determine that materials, products and /or processes are in accordance with specifications and requirements
  • Performs process audits
  • Makes visual, dimensional or mechanical tests of materials, processes, assemblies or subassemblies.
  • Uses a variety of precision measuring instruments and test equipment.
  • Maintains graphs and records pertinent to the function.
  • Refer deviations from standards to appropriate personnel.
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Associates degree in applicable field preferred
  • 3-5 years of quality experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in similar role
  • 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced work environment
  • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to develop good rapport with various teams.
  • Ability to work individually
  • Basic math skills
  • Knowledge of materials, tools, and gauges.
