TMS-Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Technician



  • Make an Impact! The TMS Technician provide TMS Treatments to patients in the Mirmont Broomall Outpatient Center utilizing a breakthrough treatment modality for treating depression: Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, or TMS Therapy. The certified TMS Tech will perform TMS Therapy, under the specific physician protocols and will provide medical assistant duties under the supervision of the site manager, medical director, and staff physicians.

Position: TMS-Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Technician
Shift: Mon-Fri: 9am-5:00pm

Experience:
2 years of Mental Health Patient Care preferred. Additional Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Experience addressing any patient's medical conditions or symptoms, including basic life support certification, Knowledge of Pennsylvania Mental Health Law and procedures regarding voluntary and involuntary inpatient treatment. Strong communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft.

Education:
High School or GED

Licensures/Certifications:
Must become TMS Certified within first 2 weeks of hire (provided by MLH)
