We are looking for a highly skilled Accountant to join our growing team. The accountant is responsible for applying generally accepted accounting principles to complete essential accounting duties, analyze financial trends, complete timely reviews of reconciliations and financial reports and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures are followed.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Perform analytical reviews of balance sheet and profit and loss accounts and report on trends
• Properly account for prepaid expenses (including direct mail advertising), selling expenses, freight and intangible assets
• Provide continuous support of budget and forecast activities
• Complete key reviews of departmental financial statements monthly
• Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met
• Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
• Assist in preparation for financial audits
• Assist in special projects as assigned by management

WHAT YOU BRING

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or related field required
• CPA certification, preferred
• Knowledge of accepted Accounting Practices and Principles
• Computer Proficiency in Micro-soft Office to include Excel,
• Access, PowerPoint and word.
• Two to three years' experience in general accounting or financial reporting, preferred.
• Detail oriented
• Ability to handle stressful situations and deadline pressures
• Requires excellent organization, communication, customer service, interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills.
