Division of Information Technology Job Description
Investigate and resolve MU Health network related problems and provide in-depth network analysis to other teams in the resolution of customer issues. Plan or implement complex network infrastructure projects. Provide expert technical advice for the development and implementation of enterprise initiatives. Perform wireless site surveys, and triage Wi-Fi issues. Router, Switch, AP, installation. Participate in 7/24 on call rotation supporting, monitoring critical network systems. Provide timely response to all service requests, incidents, including outages and problems. Maintain currency in emerging network technologies to ensure the recognition of opportunities to improve our business processes. Shift
Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm Evening, weekend, & call-in work may be required to meet deadlines & correct system failures. Minimum Qualifications
Experience with Cisco enterprise class network and 802.11 wireless networks. Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with DNS and DHCP. Some experience with Linux and /or Windows servers. Monitor network performance and integrity. Interpersonal skills demonstrate effective communication, both written and verbal, with customers and IT peers. Preferred Qualifications
Identify and recommend improvements for network performance. Proficiency in API, Python scripting, HTML coding, and SNMP management of network equipment. Develop and maintain automation scripts managing the enterprise network. Experience with TCP/IP routed networks. Experience with Cisco DNA Center, Cisco Identity Service Engine (ISE) and Firewalls. Ability to work calmly on multiple tasks meeting required deadlines when under pressure. Anticipated Hiring Range
