"I can succeed as a Compensation Manager."

You will be a critical member of the global compensation team working alongside other compensation professionals, HR partners and business leaders to support our compensation programs for our global distribution business groups (NACG/EACG). You will consult and influence business managers and internal HR groups on complex compensation matters. We'll use your expertise to develop and implement compensation strategies. You'll provide expertise in job analyses and job architecture. You will advise on external market analyses and offer recommendations and compensationplan design. You will utilize your critical thinking and analytical skills to advise on compensation recommendations, bonus and variable compensation plans, and market studies. In this role, you will develop, communicate, and implement appropriate solutions (programs, processes, tools) in support of providing an effective holistic client and HR Business Partner compensation experience. Please note this role will not have direct reports.

Using data analytics, statistical methods, and tools such as Workday, Excel, and Tableau, you'll contribute to the overall mission of the Compensation team to ensure Capital Group's competitiveness in the marketplace.

  • You have a minimum of 10 years' experience in compensation analysis, design, administration in a business partner or in house consulting role. Experience in financial services or large global organizations highly preferred.

  • You have extensive experience in consulting with HR partners and senior business leaders on compensation impacts and developing creative solutions on a variety of total compensation matters, including setting appropriate pay levels, base pay, and annual incentives.

  • You've developed strong relationships with senior leaders and have been seen as a trusted partner on compensation matters, including strategies and enhancements.

  • You've conducted in depth market analysis and benchmarking to ensure Capital's compensation and benefits packages remain competitive.

  • You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where critical thinking and proactive teamwork are essential for success.

  • You take the time to create and maintain meaningful relationships. You're a generous collaborator. You've fine-tuned your communication style to influence a variety of personalities.

  • You're comfortable presenting complex research and analysis using data visualization tools (i.e. Tableau) and have extensive knowledge in Excel; you have experience using Power BI or Alteryx.

  • Your detail orientation and accuracy are consistent and dependable.

  • You have a continuous improvement mindset and look for ways to improve and streamline processes.

  • You have a bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, or related field; master's degree or professional certifications preferred.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $131,596-$210,554

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
