This position reports to the site Lab Director and works closely with our sales teams across the US along with the manufacturers we represent. The successful candidate will receive in-depth training in our product lines and will develop improved formulations to support our customers and principals. Within the Homecare & Industrial Cleaning division, we work in application areas of air care, animal care, automotive, dishwashing, fragrances, hand hygiene, hard-surface cleaning, industrial cleaning, laundry, and surface maintenance. We supply specialty chemicals that include surfactants, builders, and specialty additives for these applications.Overview Azelis is seeking a Chemist for our Homecare and Industrial Cleaning (H&IC) laboratory located in Monmouth Junction, NJ. The Chemist is responsible for the development and management of formulation projects to assist Azelis in bringing customers innovative solutions and speed to market support for the Home Care and Industrial Cleaning industry. This is a hands-on laboratory bench position requiring clear technical thinking, consistent focus on safety, good communication skills, and enthusiastic collaboration. Through close connection and regular interaction with the commercial team, it is the responsibility of the chemist to gain a deep understanding of the target market including, but not limited to, market intelligence, trends, needs and opportunities as they relate to Azelis' current and new product and service offerings. MissionTo assist the Commercial Team in the development of formulations and supporting data for promotion of Azelis products and inclusion in customer formulation projects. Main Accountabilities
