Summary:

Applied Training Solutions (ATS) is currently seeking a Senior/Lead Technical Training Instructor with exceptional expertise in IT and computing services to join our team. This critical role requires an individual with an MA/MS degree and at least 10 years of experience, or a BA/BS degree with 12+ years of experience. The chosen candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive exercise support that aligns with the operational mission and interests as mandated by the Government. Your role will encompass a wide range of duties, including delivering subject matter expertise for exercise control, data, and event integration across all Intelligence Warfighting Function disciplines. Additionally, you will be instrumental in supporting students and Exercise Trainers by answering Intelligence Requests for Information (RFIs), collaborating with Exercise Trainers to develop events that facilitate learning objectives through dynamic "on-the-fly" message traffic, and providing essential simulation and synchronization support to Capstone exercises for each ICoE course. Your efforts will ensure the stimulation of C4ISR systems, the synchronization of scenario events, and the provision of supplementary scripted message traffic to meet comprehensive training requirements.

As a Senior/Lead Instructor, your expertise will extend beyond direct exercise support to include performing in-depth research, analysis, and documentation of exercise functions, solution sets, and all related events. This role demands a proactive approach to liaison and monitoring activities, ensuring all aspects of exercise operations are seamlessly integrated and effectively executed. You will also be tasked with providing automated and White Cell scripting exercise support for a range of training events, including Capstone Training Exercises and practical exercises (PEs). This will require a sophisticated understanding of how to stimulate Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Information Management (C4IM) systems across the ICoE training/mission systems architecture, ensuring a robust and immersive training experience for all participants.

Your responsibilities will also encompass the development of scenario-based, simulation-driven Capstone Exercises that emphasize Joint, Intergovernmental, Interagency, and Multi-National (JIIM) full spectrum operations, adhering to Army and TRADOC approved models, such as the Decisive Action Training Environment (DATE). You will be charged with drafting, preparing, and maintaining a wide array of documents related to Modeling, Simulation, and Exercise Support, including procedures, plans, Operations Orders (OPORDs), Operations Plans (OPLANs), "Road-to-War" documents, Master Scenario Events Lists (MSELs), Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Plans, and Tactics Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) documentation. Your role will ensure the accuracy of simulation "Probability of Hit/Probability of Kill" (PH/PK) ratio tables, descriptive documents, and best business practices, with all documents submitted to the Government for review and approval prior to final publication and/or implementation. This position is designed for a highly strategic and innovative professional, capable of driving the success of our training programs through meticulous planning, execution, and documentation, in alignment with the supported course Terminal Learning Objectives (TLO).
