About the role: The AP Technology Deployment department is looking for a senior engineer to support AP1000 Front End Engineering projects and project development activities. The project engineers will report to a AP1000 Project Engineering Manager and be assigned to one or several technical areas. Their specific responsibilities will be as follow Key Responsibilities: Support Functional Area Lead(s) to ensure progress and scope execution on AP1000 Front End Engineering contracts and new plant project development activities You will oversee the managing the schedule and budgeting You will be the lead contact for Functional Area Leads and Project Coordinator Responsible for discipline representation in the Project Review Meetings Support the Project Engineering Manager and Design Technical Lead Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering At least 5 years of relevant work experience, previous experience on AP1000 design Cognizance in at least one of the following technical areas: Nuclear systems design Turbine Island/Balance of Plant systems or structural design NSSS components design and analyses Piping layout and analysis Licensing Plant layout integration Digital Design (configuration control) Civil, Structural and Architectural engineering Electrical design #LI-Hybrid Why Westinghouse?
