Upon successful completion of all aspects of training, the trainee will be placed on a team within the Commercial Loan Department. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participate in and successfully complete each defined training rotation required during the program, which includes multiple team rotations within the Commercial Department.
- Master each technical and system function required during training rotations including: branch transactions and products, customer accounts, customer service, call center and call evaluations, loan applications, branch sales networking, commercial loan operations, credit analysis and more.

- Complete other tasks as assigned by the Commercial Loan Department's senior management staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree required with a focus in accounting, business, economics, or finance preferred.
- Internship experience with a bank or in a financial field is strongly preferred.

- Maintain credibility through professional demeanor, appearance, and presence by modeling standards appropriate to our environment and industry.
- Maintain good working relationships with internal partners by exhibiting exemplary interpersonal skills, adopting a constructive, solutions-focused approach.
- Use sound professional judgment to balance the interests of the organization and customer, understanding and using available resources to mitigate risks.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 products and applications, including the ability to effectively prepare or review documents, procedures, and reports. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and applications, as well as the ability to understand, adapt and adjust responsibilities/workflows as a result of system upgrades.
- Occasional travel to other First American Bank locations, Bank functions, and training facilities may be required.
- Positions based in our Florida and Wisconsin markets will require frequent travel to our corporate office in Elk Grove Village, IL, during the first three months of the trainee program.
