Applicants must be either board certified in General Surgery and have completed a Vascular Surgery Fellowship or have competed a Vascular Surgery Residency, and be board certified or eligible in Vascular Surgery. The preferred candidate should have a diverse comprehensive experience in both open and endovascular techniques in all vascular beds. The successful candidate must possess a commitment to patient care and have a keen interest in academic surgery, including the education and training of residents, fellows, and medical students. This is an opportunity to teach in a fully accredited 5-year surgical residency. Additionally, you will receive privileges at Community Regional Medical Center, a 650-bed academically affiliated regional referral center and Level 1 Trauma Center and Burn Center. The program is based in Fresno, California, where residents enjoy a high standard of living combined with a low cost of living. Limitless recreational opportunities and spectacular scenery are all accessible in a community with abundant affordable housing.
