Department:ICE | NRSL Oncology Float PoolDepartment's Website: Summary of Job Duties:This posting will be used to fill multiple positions.Schedule: 7A-7P or 7P-7A with rotating weekends as needed. The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care to assigned patients. As a professional nurse, the nursing process is utilized in the provision of care. The RN practices within the limits of the Nurse Practice Act of the State of Arkansas and adheres to institutional policies, procedures and standards. The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care to assigned patients in the Oncology Float Division (FD) The Oncology FD nurses have the opportunity to work on all the inpatient oncology units with the possibility of working in the medical and surgical areas should the need arise. The Oncology FD nurses' use all their nursing assessment and clinical skills to meet new patients, families, and staff on a daily basis. To prepare the Oncology FD nurses to work in these specialty areas, a variety of courses are offered including Chemotherapy, CAR-T, Stem Cell Transplantation, and any other specialized courses required. Clinical orientation focuses on the nurse's needs and strengths as they are partnered with a preceptor to maximize their orientation experience. All Float Division nurses receive a bonus of 25% for regular, worked hours floating to the different areas.
