Demonstrate commitment to academic achievement of all students. 2. Foster collegiality & teambuilding among staff; encourage active involvement in the decision-making process. 3. Establish and maintain an orderly and supportive classroom environment in which learners actively participate and show respect for one another and the instructor. 5. Prepare subject lesson plans utilizing the College & Career Readiness standards; submit plans as requested. 6. Prepare and execute lessons that reflect accommodations for differences in student learning styles. 7. Use technology to strengthen the teaching and learning process; use technology to supplement instruction through distance learning. 8. Conduct and arrange ongoing assessment of students' achievement through formal or informal testing. 9. Participate in staff development activities to improve job-related skills. 10. Compile, maintain, and file all reports; submit weekly attendance records and other required documents. 11. Attend and participate in faculty meetings and serve on staff committees as assigned. 12. Complete required annual professional development training as required by UAHT and AR Adult Education. 13. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Valid Arkansas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned. Adult Education endorsement required within three years of employment. EXPERIENCE: At least one year of student teaching or actual classroom experience.
