All About You Saint Louis University, a Catholic, Jesuit institution dedicated to student learning, research, health care, and service, is seeking applications from persons interested in a full-time, faculty position in orthodontics at The Center for Advanced Dental Education. Responsibilities will include teaching in the graduate program in orthodontics and the development of an active research program. Salary, academic rank, tenure consideration, and administrative responsibilities will be based on background, experience, goals of the person hired, and needs of the program. Applicants must have a DDS, DMD or acceptable foreign equivalent, CODA accredited training in orthodontics, a Master of Science degree in Orthodontics, and research experience. Applicants must be eligible for licensure in the State of Missouri (pr.mo.gov/dental.asp). All applications must be made online. Applications must include a cover letter and curriculum vitae. Saint Louis University's Center for Advanced Dental Education Student Loan Forgiveness Program is intended to assist certain orthodontic faculty with the repayment of their student loans. It is structured so that assistance amounts are forgiven over time if certain conditions (such as, continued employment) are met. Orthodontists with experience in private practice as well as newly graduated orthodontists are encouraged to apply.
