JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Marketing Department in the Smeal College of Business is seeking a candidate to serve as a teaching assistant for approximately 10 hours of work per week during the Fall 2024 semester.

The Teaching Assistant will be responsible for one section of MKTG 450W - Marketing Strategy in the Fall Semester. Duties include grading assignments, creating quizzes, and helping the instructor with a marketing simulation,as well as other duties as assigned by the supervising instructor.

Candidates are expected to be present for a few in-person classes throughout the semester, so it is important that there are no scheduling conflicts with at least one of the sections. The class schedule for each section is provided below (all classes in the Business building):

  • First section:Tuesdays and Thursdays1:35-2:50 PM
  • Second section: Tuesdays and Thursdays3:05-4:20 PM
  • Third section:Tuesdays and Thursdays4:35-5:50 PM
