The candidate must have formal training in the inpatient and outpatient care of advanced heart failure, heart transplantation, mechanical circulatory support device and pulmonary hypertension patients. Interest and expertise in other subspecialty areas of cardiology and/or a research background are highly desirable. Applicants must hold an MD, MD/PhD, or MD/MPH degree(s) and be qualified for appointment at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $104,800-$320,100.
