Under general supervision, the Attorney will conduct prosecution of disciplinary proceedings pursuant to Civil Service Law 75 including internal DOT disciplinary proceedings, OATH trials, grievance proceedings and arbitrations, Civil Service Commission disciplinary appeals and related civil litigation. Draft and prepare disciplinary charges; participate in disciplinary investigations with Investigative Unit; assist Investigative Staff in conducting disciplinary surveillances; review and evaluate evidence; conduct legal research, prepare legal memoranda and briefs; investigate and prosecute fitness complaints pursuant to Civil Service Law 72. Minimum Qualifications 1. Admission to the New York State Bar; and either "2" or "3" below. Preferred Skills
