EHS Administrator 1

Position Summary

The EHS Administrator supports the development, implementation, and maintenance of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs for both the Deer Valley and Jet Processing Facilities. This position is responsible for assisting with regulatory compliance, training administration, inspections, audits, corrective action tracking, environmental programs, and EHS communications. The EHS Administrator will report to the EHS Manager and serves as a key liaison between operations, maintenance, quality, and management to promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulatory requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Environmental Compliance

• Maintain environmental compliance records and documentation.
• Assist with hazardous waste management programs.
• Support wastewater, stormwater, and air compliance activities.
• Track permit requirements and reporting deadlines.
• Assist with preparation of environmental reports and submissions.
• Conduct environmental inspections and audits.
• Maintain chemical inventories.
• Assist with waste minimization and sustainability initiatives.
• Support spill prevention and response programs.

Safety Programs

• Assist in administering facility safety programs.
• Conduct routine workplace inspections.
• Track corrective actions and follow-up activities.
• Assist with incident, injury, and near-miss investigations.
• Maintain safety metrics and performance reports.
• Track safety concerns through closure.
• Assist with Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) development.
• Support Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, Machine Guarding, Hearing Conservation, Respiratory Protection, and PPE programs.
• Participate in emergency preparedness activities.

Training Administration

• Maintain employee training records.
• Coordinate internal and external training.
• Schedule refresher training courses.
• Track certification expiration dates.
• Develop employee training matrices.
• Send training reminders and notifications.
• Assist in delivering EHS training modules.
• Coordinate onboarding safety training.

Regulatory Compliance

• Assist with OSHA compliance programs.
• Assist with EPA and ADEQ compliance requirements.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Support regulatory inspections and audits.
• Participate in corrective action development and implementation.
• Assist in preparing responses to regulatory agencies.

Data Management and Reporting

• Maintain EHS databases and tracking systems.
• Manage incident logs.
• Develop reports and KPIs.
• Update action item trackers and RAILs.
• Support management review meetings.
• Track audit findings through closure.
• Maintain regulatory reporting calendars.

Continuous Improvement

• Support 6S initiatives.
• Assist in developing preventive maintenance programs.
• Participate in root-cause investigations.
• Track cost savings initiatives.
• Promote employee engagement in safety programs.
• Assist in developing EHS awareness communications.
• Support sustainability and energy reduction projects.

Employee Engagement

• Promote positive safety culture initiatives.
• Assist with safety committees.
• Develop safety bulletin board and TV monitor content.
• Prepare EHS awareness memos and communications.
• Support recognition programs for employee involvement.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required. Associate's degree in environmental science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 0-2 years of administrative, manufacturing, safety, or related experience.
• Coursework, or exposure to environmental health and safety concepts is a plus.

• Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred but not required.
• Experience supporting EHS programs in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with aerospace, plating, machining, or industrial operations.
• Experience coordinating training records and compliance documentation.
