Senior Electronics Technician

The candidate will be mainly responsible for support engineering development of base radio equipment, site controller, router and console products. Assignments consist of reworking circuits including 0201 and 0402 size parts and fine-pitch BGA's, testing for product certification, analyzing and troubleshooting defect units, and some administrative tasks such as sample request, purchase orders, and various requests through MSI internal systems.

The candidate must be able to read schematics and layouts, be well organized, and capable of multitasking.

• Strong interest and understanding in digital, RF and analog circuits.
• Knowledge and experience of test equipment.
• Skillful in soldering and replacing 0201 and 0402 size parts and fine-pitch BGAs.
• Capable of making cables with various connectors and wiring sizes.
• Working knowledge of Cadence Allegro Design Entry HDL and PCB Layout Editor.
• Working knowledge of Labview and Python desired.
• Detail oriented.
• Good organizational and communication skills.

Target Base Salary Range: $51,700 - $66,700 USD

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.

• Minimum of an Associates Degree
• Minimum of 4 years analyzing and troubleshooting electrical circuits.
