The Customer Solutions Specialist, Supply Chain is a strategic partner, problem solver, and connector across the supply chain. This role goes beyond transactional order management by proactively creating value, anticipating customer needs, leveraging data and insights, and collaborating across functions to deliver seamless, reliable, and innovative supply chain solutions that strengthen long-term partnerships. Role Summary

The Customer Solutions Specialist serves as the primary interface between customers and internal partners across the end-to-end supply chain. This role blends customer advocacy, analytical thinking, and operational execution to deliver exceptional service, improve processes, and support scalable growth. The role is primarily focused on customer account management and order-to-cash execution, while also dedicating meaningful capacity to using data, automation, self-service solutions, and AI-enabled capabilities to simplify work, improve business outcomes, and create value for customers and the company.

This role offers a hybrid work schedule (1 day in office, 4 days from home).

What You Will Do

Customer Solutions & Account Management |

• Own end-to-end order-to-cash execution with a focus on service reliability, speed, and accuracy, using exception-based management to prevent issues before they impact customers.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to understand demand patterns, operational constraints, and growth plans, translating insights into actions that strengthen shared supply chain performance.
• Provide timely, high-quality support across phone, email, and digital platforms, including Salesforce and ERP systems, communicating clearly on status, tradeoffs, and next steps.
• Manage and prioritize work across daily execution and improvement initiatives, aligning priorities to customer commitments, service strategy, and business goals.
• Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities, balancing urgency, quality, and risk while protecting customer service.
• Manage delivery and supply inquiries with proactive visibility, effective escalation, and customer-ready communication supported by facts and insights.
• Collaborate across Sales, Operations, Transportation, Planning, and Finance to solve complex service issues, communicate risks and recommendations, and influence outcomes.

AI Enablement, Analytics & Continuous Improvement |

• Leverage data, automation, self-service solutions, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities that improve customer experience, productivity, and business outcomes.
• Use approved AI harnesses and digital assistants, such as Copilot or future platforms, to support knowledge of access, communication, problem solving, and routine work while maintaining data integrity, privacy, and responsible-use expectations.
• Identify practical opportunities to simplify workflows, reduce repetitive effort, strengthen knowledge sharing, and improve decision support.
• Contribute frontline customer and process knowledge to the development or improvement of purpose-built AI skills, automation, and self-service capabilities.
• Test and provide feedback on new tools and ways of working, sharing successful practices and lessons learned with teammates and leaders.
• Support peer learning and technology adoption by demonstrating helpful use cases, sharing job aids or standard work, and encouraging responsible experimentation.
• Use data to identify recurring issues, understand root causes, quantify impact, and support continuous improvement.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• High school diploma or GED.
• Customer service experience in a professional or operational environment.
• Experience working with Microsoft Office, including building and maintaining spreadsheets, using basic formulas, and summarizing data into clear updates and recommendations.
• Experience using data to prioritize work, identify trends, solve problems, or drive proactive service improvements.
• Experience managing competing priorities while maintaining customer commitments and service quality.
• Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn and apply new tools, technologies, and ways of working.

What Will Put You Ahead

• SAP experience, preferably S/4HANA.
• Salesforce software experience.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, analytics, information systems, or related field.
• Customer account management or supply chain experience with a manufacturing company.
• Experience building and maintaining customer relationships.
• Experience with analytics or visualization tools, such as Excel Power Query/Pivot, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms, to build insights and tell a clear story to stakeholders.
• Experience using automation, self-service tools, AI harnesses, digital assistants, or other AI-enabled capabilities to streamline work, support knowledge management, or improve decision-making.
• Experience identifying business use cases for emerging technology and translating them into practical process improvements.
• Experience helping others learn or adopt a new tool, process, or way of working while maintaining data integrity, privacy, and responsible-use expectations.
