Job Title: Solutions Developer - Risk Analytics & Reporting

  • Positions: 3
  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, core business hours

  • Work Arrangement: Remote initially, working East Coast hours. Candidates interested in future FTE conversion must be located near a client hub on the East Coast.

About the Role

Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking experienced Solutions Developers to join its Enterprise Protect Risk Factory team. Reporting to the Risk Reporting Senior Manager, this role will support risk assessment, data quality, analytics, reporting, and automation initiatives.

The successful candidate will combine strong data analytics and reporting expertise with financial services/risk experience and will collaborate closely with Technology, Risk, and Enterprise Protect stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate as a member of the risk assessment team.
  • Develop and maintain data quality scripts supporting enterprise risk assessment requirements.
  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify data quality, integrity, and reporting issues.
  • Build and maintain analytics tools, reports, and automated solutions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with the Second Line of Defense on risk and data-related challenges.
  • Engage Enterprise Protect stakeholders and data providers to validate data quality, integrity, metrics, and reporting results end to end.
  • Support change awareness activities and provide expertise on Key Risk Indicator (KRI) design.
  • Develop supporting materials and respond to ongoing data analysis requests.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of data sources and data lineage for reporting data marts.
  • Understand how data sources are utilized throughout the reporting process.
  • Support complex projects and initiatives in a highly matrixed, cross-functional environment.
  • Manage multiple priorities independently while delivering high-quality results within established timelines.



Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of overall Solutions Developer/technology experience.
  • 5+ years of data analysis or reporting experience within a financial services or risk-focused environment.
  • 4+ years of AML experience
  • 4+ years of Python and SQL experience.
  • Strong data analytics and reporting experience working with large volumes of data.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Excel.
  • Experience with Python and data/visualization tools.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Knowledge of financial industry technology controls and security risk issues.
  • Strong understanding of data quality, data integrity, reporting, and data lineage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Strong ability to prioritize and independently manage workload with limited management guidance.
  • Demonstrated experience contributing to complex, comprehensive, or large-scale projects and initiatives.
  • Excellent collaboration skills in a highly matrixed, cross-functional environment.



Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Tableau.
  • Power BI experience (1+ year preferred).
  • Experience developing risk metrics/KRIs.
  • Additional experience in financial crime, AML, risk management, or enterprise risk reporting.

  • Interview Timeline: Target interviews beginning September 30.
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid designation; remote work initially with East Coast business hours. FTE conversion requires proximity to a client East Coast hub.
