Job Description:

Huntsman is seeking a Key Account Manager (KAM) - Advanced Materials (Industrial Adhesives & Coatings) supporting the Advanced Materials Division located in The Woodlands, TX. This position will report to the Sales Leader.

Job Scope

The Key Account Manager (KAM) is a senior commercial role responsible for managing strategic, high-value accounts and selected mid-sized customers within the Advanced Materials business.

This individual will lead assigned customer relationships, drive organic growth, and own commercial performance. Limited prospecting is expected where it supports account strategy.

The KAM will focus on Industrial Adhesives and Coatings, with minor global coordination for selected accounts.

In summary, as the Key Account Manager (KAM), you will:

• Own and lead relationships with strategic, large and mid-sized customers within Industrial Adhesives & Coatings.
• Develop account strategies aligned with growth, margin, service, and customer priorities.
• Build relationships across procurement, engineering, R&D, operations, and executive stakeholders.
• Serve as primary commercial contact and work with internal stakeholders to coordinate internal resources.
• Provide limited global coordination while retaining territory responsibility.
• Convert organic growth opportunities across applications, products, programs, and customer locations.
• Manage long qualification-cycle opportunities through technical qualification, trials, and commercialization.
• Protect and expand business while balancing customer value, revenue, and margin.
• Conduct limited, targeted prospecting aligned with territory strategy.
• Partner cross-functionally to position differentiated solutions.
• Manage territory P&L and operate with a "CEO of territory" mindset, influencing revenue, pricing, margin, and working-capital performance.
• Accurately forecast monthly demand, pipeline, revenue, and opportunities to support production and business planning.
• Lead pricing, negotiations, contracts, receivables, and commercial escalation for order, supply, quality, and complaint issues.
• Maintain strong commercial process discipline and report customer, market, and competitive insights to commercial leadership.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Chemistry, Engineering, or Business preferred.
• 10+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years of commercial experience in adhesives, epoxy chemistries, advanced materials, or specialty chemicals.

Skills and knowledge

• Demonstrated success managing strategic, high-value B2B accounts in technically complex, long-cycle sales environments.
• Strong financial, commercial, and technical aptitude; comfortable engaging in application-level discussions.
• Proven ability to deliver organic growth, negotiate effectively, and mobilize cross-functional resources as an individual contributor.
• Willingness to travel 50% or more.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing strategic, high-value B2B accounts in technically complex, long-cycle sales environments.
• Experience in adhesives, epoxy chemistries, advanced materials, or specialty chemicals.

Working Environment

• Travel 50%+.
