Position Summary

Credence is seeking an Unaccompanied Alien Children Program Intakes Specialist to support intake and placement operations by reviewing referrals, coordinating with stakeholders, maintaining case records, and facilitating timely case processing activities. This role serves as a critical point of contact in the intake process and helps ensure accurate documentation, effective communication, and timely case coordination.

The successful candidate will work closely with program staff, service providers, government partners, and external stakeholders to support intake operations, assess case information, and facilitate appropriate placement recommendations. This position requires strong organizational skills, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below:

• Receive, review, and process intake referrals in accordance with established procedures.
• Assess referral information and supporting documentation to facilitate timely case processing and placement decisions.
• Coordinate with internal teams, service providers, and external stakeholders throughout the intake process.
• Maintain accurate and complete intake records, case files, and supporting documentation.
• Monitor intake activities and ensure cases are processed within established timelines.
• Analyze case information and make appropriate recommendations based on available data and program requirements.
• Respond to inquiries and provide information regarding intake procedures and case status updates.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support effective case coordination and service delivery.
• Prepare reports, summaries, and documentation related to intake and placement activities.
• Ensure data quality and accuracy within intake tracking systems and records.
• Support process improvement efforts designed to enhance intake operations and case management activities.
• Maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive information in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Public Administration, Criminal Justice, Psychology, Sociology, Child Welfare, International Relations, or a related field.
• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant professional experience supporting intake operations, case management, child welfare, refugee services, immigration services, social services, human services programs, or related fields.
• Experience reviewing referrals, applications, case files, or intake documentation.
• Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders to support case management, intake, or placement activities.
• Knowledge of case management principles, intake processes, and service coordination practices.
• Experience assessing information, exercising sound judgment, and making recommendations based on established guidelines.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience maintaining detailed records, documentation, and case management systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work rotating schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
