Position Summary

Credence is seeking a Senior Analyst, Editor to provide research, editorial, documentation, and quality assurance support for policy and program initiatives. This role is responsible for analyzing information, developing written products, reviewing technical and legal documentation, and ensuring accuracy, consistency, and quality across a wide range of deliverables.

The successful candidate will collaborate with subject matter experts, leadership, program staff, and stakeholders to develop, edit, and maintain high-quality reports, correspondence, policy documents, and analytical products. The position requires exceptional writing, editing, and organizational skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below:

• Conduct research, analysis, and documentation support for policy, programmatic, and operational initiatives.
• Draft, edit, review, and format reports, correspondence, briefing materials, and other written deliverables.
• Ensure written products are accurate, clear, consistent, and aligned with organizational standards.
• Perform quality assurance reviews of documents to identify errors, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
• Analyze policies, procedures, guidance documents, and supporting materials to assist in document development and revision.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to gather, organize, and validate information used in written products.
• Support the development and maintenance of documentation, templates, and knowledge resources.
• Track document revisions and maintain version control throughout the review process.
• Support responses to internal and external information requests.
• Prepare summaries, findings, and recommendations based on research and analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support policy and program objectives.
• Ensure deliverables are completed accurately and within established deadlines.

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Public Policy, Public Administration, Political Science, Legal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of four (4) years of relevant professional experience supporting research, editing, technical writing, policy analysis, documentation review, communications, or related functions.
• Experience conducting research, documentation support, and quality assurance reviews of written materials.
• Experience drafting, editing, and reviewing reports, correspondence, policy documents, and other professional communications.
• Ability to analyze complex information and present findings clearly and concisely.
• Strong editorial, proofreading, and document review skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
