Schedules:

• 2nd Shift
• 3rd Shift
• Monday - Friday + OT on the weekends
• Sundays pay double time as long as other hours are worked as scheduled

Job Duties

• Select the appropriate job according to the shop floor control system or as directed by the leader.
• Perform setup using appropriate work instructions, blueprints, and other specifications, including the development and adjustment of simple CNC programs.
• Perform adjustments to machine parameters as trained, including necessary robot calibrations.
• Verify capability of process utilizing SPC or other control methods, with process-specific measuring devices.
• Verify process is meeting all ocular inspection criteria.
• Ensure process is running to defined levels of efficiency and utilization.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tooling as required, including maintaining and assessing tooling requirements.
• Maintain the equipment and surrounding area with order and cleanliness, including completion of daily housekeeping duties.
• Perform job in accordance with all safety and environmental requirements.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.

Experience Requirements

• 6+ months of manufacturing experience.
• Close attention to detail with a strong visual perception.
• Experienced in the use of various measuring gauges and equipment.
• Knowledge of 5S and lean manufacturing preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of experience working in a mechanical or process industry preferred.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
