Position Details:

As part of the Marketing & Communications team, you will report to Senior Manager, Clinical Marketing

As the Clinical Marketing and Outreach Specialist, you will partner with the Marketing and Clinical teams on a range of responsibilities to drive referral leads for the San Mateo Office, from referral outreach and event management to leading email. In this role you will bring your experience in marketing/sales experience and strong interest in childhood mental healthcare to represent the Child Mind Institute in the community. You will also partner with the Clinical Director and clinical team to further CMI's reputation, build relationships and drive patient referrals.

This is an exempt, full-time position and requires a minimum of four (4) days per week in the office, as determined by your supervisor in our San Mateo office. The in-office requirement and schedule are subject to change based on the needs of the program and the organization.

You Will:

* Collaborate with colleagues in the Marketing and Communications department to develop and execute Clinical Marketing campaigns including digital and email marketing, promotional materials, conference programs, participant handouts, and signage.

* Influence development and implementation of marketing plans for the clinical practice and specific clinical programs, including email and outreach campaigns.

* Build and maintain relationships with referral sources, including mental health providers, school staff, and medical professionals.

* Write and manage communications to key referral sources, promoting clinical services and engaging parents, educators, and other audiences. Handle all correspondence, including outreach, thank-you notes, and coordination of referral presentations in collaboration with clinicians.

* Represent the organization and our clinical offerings at receptions and events.

* Provide marketing training to the clinical team related to referrals, outreach and communication.

* Analyze the competitive landscape to understand the organization's position and identify optimal strategies for positioning our offerings.

* Manage professional development and parent workshops, including the development of related marketing materials, presentation skills coaching, and financial reporting. Develop and execute email marketing strategy and campaigns.

Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

You Have:

* BA/BS degree in communications, marketing, related field from an accredited college or university.

* 2 years of experience in sales, marketing or a related field with demonstrated creativity in referral generation and outreach initiatives.

* 1 year of relevant experience in a medical practice, school setting or on a marketing team.

* Experience leading planning, organizing, and marketing events.

* Experience using CRM systems, such as Salesforce.

* Availability to support events that may occur on evenings and weekends.

The salary range for the position is posted. Factors such as candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations affect the salary offered within this range. In addition, this salary may be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state and depending on the role), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
