Program Control SME

Odyssey has an exciting new opportunity for a Program Control SME. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the 4STS Sustainment Program Office for the Upgraded Early Warning Radar (UEWR), Perimeter Acquisition Radar Attack Characterization System (PARCS), and Cobra Dane weapon systems.

This is a full-time role at Peterson SFB in Colorado Springs, CO.

Duties include, but not limited to:

Knowledge of principles, policies and practices of systems acquisition and program management, as defined in DoDI 5000.02 and 5000.75, as well as knowledge of roles and relationships within the DoD, Space Force, and Air Force.
• Individual must have knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques for gathering, analyzing, and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of acquisition programs.
• Individual has the knowledge of support activities that assist the PM in assessing what programs are within schedule and cost baselines.
• Individual must be able to provide quality acquisition and program documentation (briefings, documents, and plans).
• Contractor shall be able to support and develop acquisition reports, including statutory and regulatory reports (i.e. DAES and MAR).
• Support program management reviews, senior level meeting/reviews and IMP/IMS reviews.
• Contractor shall be able to support and develop various briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks to senior management.
• The contractor shall provide administrative support functions related to the above duties, to include staff support for the senior managers and members of the organizational staff. This includes, but not limited to, researching and compiling information pertaining to certain projects/topics, reviews CDRL packages, prepares factual, clear, concise, complete and appropriately coordinated written communications.
• Ensures the leadership is kept informed of all issues of interest that relate to the mission organization.
• Monitors progress toward accomplishment of various taskings and initiatives.
• Provides support by supplying the information and background for the preparation of program events.
• Drafts documents for the approval and signature of leadership.
• Disseminates program policy and specific initiative guidance for members of the organization.
• Coordinates, documents, monitors, and supports a variety of meetings and conferences to include, but not limited to, scheduling and set up of physical and virtual meetings in support.
• Prepare background information and invite required meeting participants ensuring documentation of the meetings are filed IAW organizational policy. Documentation may include, but is not limited to, attendance logs, minutes and/or action items with corresponding action officers.
• Maintains scheduling documents and requirements for video and online conferencing set up and execution. This may include but is not limited to the maintenance logs on the equipment and the corresponding instructions on equipment set up and meeting execution.

Minimum Required Qualifications

Clearance: Top Secret

Education: High School diploma and

Years of Experience: At least 15 years of directly related experience to include 8 years of DoD/DoW experience

Preferred Qualifications

Clearance: Top Secret

Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related field

Years of experience: At least 12 years of directly related experience to include 10 years of DoD/DoW experience

Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP)

Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as the Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
