| Position Summary |
The position is responsible for helping to implement and to support all programmatic aspects of the Embark Georgia Center at the J.W. Fanning Institute for Leadership Development. The Embark Georgia Center supports college access and opportunities for youth who have experienced foster care and/or homelessness through concerted training and network facilitation for higher education leaders in communities in Georgia and beyond. Supports the day-to-day management of assigned projects; especially activities related to broadening and strengthening engagement of client and stakeholder relationships. Designs and delivers Institute programs and trainings. Works closely with faculty and staff at the Fanning Institute to coordinate activities related to the Embark Georgia Center and to support the broader mission of
PSO. Reports to the Embark Georgia Center Network Director. Position is contingent upon continued external funding for Embark Georgia Center Network activities. |

Program Management and Coordination
- Provide programmatic oversight and management of grant and contract related programming including summer programming for youth and workforce development programming for youth.
- Develop and implement program content, timelines and workflows, and tracking systems to support effective implementation, reporting and continuous improvement of programs.
- Monitor program budgets and adhere to unit and university fiscal policies.
- Maintain and develop new relationships with partner organizations and agencies, including funding partners, non-profit organizations and postsecondary educational agencies.
- Develop and implement training and professional development experiences for Embark Georgia Center key constituent partners: postsecondary education, K-12 education, child welfare agencies, and non-profit agency partners and leaders.
- Design and deliver state and national conference sessions to promote Embark Georgia Center activities.
- Assist with conference coordination and delivery.
