Temple University's Small Business Development Center is searching for an APEX Government Marketing Specialist! Become a part of the Temple family and you will have access to the following: Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 Position Summary The SEPA APEX Government Marketing Specialist (GMS) provides consulting and technical assistance to area businesses and entrepreneurs across Philadelphia, Reading, the Lehigh Valley, and adjacent counties. The GMS educates clients on development and growth strategies and must possess a thorough understanding of government procurement processes and entry opportunities for small businesses within the national industrial base. Responsibilities include managing a diverse client portfolio and ensuring comprehensive follow-up and coordination of activities. As a member of the APEX team, the GMS represents the Center at external meetings and events alongside partner organizations, including community development corporations, banks, government agencies, and professional associations. Additionally, the APEX GMS serves as a secondary point of contact for the Temple Small Business Development Center (TESBDC). This position reports to both the Director of the TESBDC and the Director of the SEPA APEX Accelerator and will undertake additional duties as assigned. This is a 12-month, grant-funded position with possibility of continued funding.
