Director of Central Supply and Transportation Coordination

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

• As a minimum, an associates degree or equivalent.

• One (1) year of experience in a Central Supply or previous supply ordering and inventory control experience in a healthcare environment preferred.

• One (1) year of experience in a clerical, administrative or recordkeeping role.

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Strong organizational and attention to detail skills required.

As the Director of Central Supply/Transportation Coordinator/AppointmentScheduler, you are instrumental in ensuring our residents and staff have the equipment they need. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect by ordering supplies, ensuring appropriate stock of supplies is available in the facility at all times and keeping resident rooms and supply areas are stocked with supplies. This position may require stooping, bending and the ability to lift and carry boxes and supplies that may weigh up to 75 lbs.

In this role, you are also entrusted with ensuring the smooth and efficient scheduling of appointments and transportation for our residents and escorts to accompany those residents who may require assistance to and from doctor's appointments. Additional duties may include confidentially maintaining health records of our residents, handling requests for residents of medical records and ensuring resident medical records are given to authorized personnel internally and externally. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.
