General Foremen play a critical role in field leadership, coordinating crews, Foremen, manpower, materials, and project priorities to ensure complex mechanical piping projects are executed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

At RK Mechanical, you'll support commercial, industrial, semiconductor, data center, and mission-critical projects while partnering with Superintendents, Project Managers, customers, and trade partners to drive field execution. You'll oversee workforce planning, production, safety, quality, and scheduling while developing the next generation of field leaders.

What You'll Do

• Lead multiple pipefitting crews and Foremen across active construction projects.
• Oversee manpower planning, labor forecasting, scheduling, and project execution.
• Coordinate materials, tools, equipment, and workforce resources to maintain productivity and schedule commitments.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements to ensure quality installations and code compliance.
• Partner with Project Managers, Superintendents, customers, and trade partners to resolve field issues and maintain project momentum.
• Monitor labor productivity, QA/QC requirements, safety performance, and project progress.
• Support project turnover activities and customer satisfaction.
• Mentor Foremen, Journeymen, and Apprentices while developing future field leaders.

What You Bring

• Journeyman-level Pipefitter experience required.
• Previous experience as a General Foreman, Foreman, Lead Foreman, Mechanical Superintendent, or similar field leadership role.
• Experience managing multiple crews, Foremen, and large craft workforces.
• Experience with manpower planning, labor forecasting, scheduling, and material management.
• Strong mechanical piping experience, including hydronic, process, and mechanical room systems.
• Experience with carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, HDPE, Victaulic/grooved, or similar piping systems.
• Experience supporting industrial, semiconductor, manufacturing, data center, mission-critical, healthcare, or central plant projects preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, schedules, and project documents.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• OSHA 30 preferred.

Minimum Physical Requirements

• Work indoors and outdoors, including dusty, noisy, and active construction environments.
• Work at heights, in confined spaces, and in other challenging jobsite conditions.
• Climb, balance, squat, kneel, crouch, and perform physically demanding construction activities.
• Work in all weather conditions.
• Maintain working knowledge of piping trade tools, equipment, and materials.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds occasionally, 45 pounds frequently, and 22 pounds continuously.
