About the Team

Our team supports mission-critical payment processing applications that power financial institutions across the globe. We work collaboratively across engineering, product management, business analysis, implementation, and service delivery teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable payment solutions. The team is focused on modernization initiatives, operational excellence, and continuous innovation within the ACH payments ecosystem.

• Serve as the technical lead and primary contributor for ACH payment processing solutions, including XAA/EDI applications.
• Lead end-to-end technical delivery of strategic projects, often acting as the principal technical resource from design through implementation and production support.
• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance complex payment processing applications using mainframe technologies.
• Drive modernization and platform upgrade initiatives to improve scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Resolve production issues, defects, and service requests while ensuring system stability and operational excellence.
• Coordinate change management activities, including deployment planning, production validation, release approvals, and implementation support.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define requirements, develop technical solutions, and ensure successful project execution.
• Optimize system performance through process improvements, job flow optimization, and platform efficiency enhancements.
• Provide technical architecture guidance and solution design expertise for complex payment processing environments.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership, code reviews, and quality oversight across development teams.
• Support client implementations and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of business objectives.
• Participate in on-call support rotations and coordinate operational readiness activities as required.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Extensive experience in software engineering and technical leadership roles within financial services or payments technology.
• Strong expertise in ACH payment processing and payment systems architecture.
• Advanced experience developing and supporting mainframe applications using: COBOL DB2 JCL Mainframe development and deployment tools
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies and production support processes.
• Experience leading complex, large-scale technology initiatives from conception through deployment.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain high-volume, mission-critical applications.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating across technical and business organizations.

• Deep expertise with ACH Tracker or similar ACH processing platforms.
• Experience with payment regulations, compliance requirements, and risk management solutions.
• Knowledge of: OFAC screening Prefunding processes Transaction controls Regulatory change implementation
• Experience with throughput optimization, parallel processing, and large-scale performance tuning initiatives.
• Technical architecture experience within high-volume financial transaction environments.
• Experience leading modernization and transformation programs for legacy payment platforms.
• Strong mentoring and people leadership capabilities.
