While this is a remote position, the successful candidate must reside within 50 miles of a FedEx Freight location in North Newark, NJ. This position is expected to cover the following territory: lower Westchester, NY, including Yonkers, Manhattan, and the Bronx. Territory assignments are subject to change from time to time at the company's discretion. POSITION OVERVIEW: Responsible for new business development, account implementation, and maintaining customer relationships within a defined geographic territory. Focus on identifying customer needs, delivering tailored LTL solutions, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Direct sales efforts within a terminal operations locality. Promote and direct sales activities, ensuring alignment with district goals. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research and outreach. Maintain and grow existing accounts by understanding customer supply chains. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver outstanding service. Conduct sales presentations, develop proposals, and close deals. Utilize CRM tools and Microsoft Office to manage sales activities. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures. Perform other duties as assigned MINIMUM EDUCATION Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE 2 years B2B sales experience. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Strong initiative, organizational skills, and adaptability. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and Salesforce. Mid-level negotiation skills and ability to offer competitive pricing. Ability to collaborate with local operations teams. Knowledge of LTL services and competitive landscape. Ability to manage time and territory effectively. JOB CONDITIONS: Ability to travel overnight as required. PAY TRANSPARENCY Annual Salary: $84,538.00 - $141,847.00 The compensation listed reflects the pay range or rate of pay reasonably expected for this posted position at the posted location(s). If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the pay information represents the minimum and maximum range for all levels. Actual pay is determined by job-related factors permitted by law and relevant to the position, such as experience, tenure, market level, pay at the location for this job, performance, schedule, and work assignment. New Jersey Candidates: Starting Annual Salary: $84,538.00 - $115,812.00 *[APPLY NEW JERSEY'S 60% RULE AND DISPLAY THE CORRESPONDING PARTIAL RANGE HERE]* This compensation range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting pay range in NJ. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay is determined by experience relative to the job, market level, specific location and other job-related factors permitted by law. Regular full & part-time employees (who complete 91 days of employment and work a minimum average of 17 hours per week) are eligible to enroll in medical, dental, and/or vision coverage, tuition reimbursement.
