Why This Role May Interest You

This is an opportunity to help shape the performance of one of North America's leading renewable energy portfolios. You'll work across more than 11 GW of utility-scale wind, solar, and battery storage assets, with the portfolio continuing to expand as new projects enter operation each year.

The Asset Management role provides exposure to the commercial, financial, and operational aspects of renewable energy, offering the opportunity to develop a broad understanding of asset performance and value creation. Working alongside teams across Trading, Operations, Finance, Engineering, Legal, and Power Marketing, you'll influence strategic decisions that support long-term portfolio growth and optimization.

What You Can Expect

As a Senior Asset Management Analyst, you will take ownership of a portfolio of utility-scale renewable generation and energy storage assets, supporting their commercial, operational, and financial success. You'll work closely with Trading, Operations, Finance, Engineering, Legal, and Power Marketing teams to evaluate asset performance, manage contractual obligations, develop business plans, and identify opportunities to enhance value.

In this role, you will monitor market activity, support strategic decision-making, oversee asset-level financial performance, and help ensure contractual, regulatory, and operational commitments are met. The position provides broad exposure to energy markets, renewable asset operations, commercial agreements, and portfolio optimization initiatives throughout the asset lifecycle.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary asset manager for a portfolio of utility-scale wind, solar, and battery storage assets across North American power markets
  • Own asset-level financial performance, including P&L oversight, forecasting, business planning, and value optimization
  • Partner with Trading and Energy Management teams to support market participation strategies and enhance asset value
  • Manage complex commercial agreements, including PPAs, O&M agreements, and landowner contracts
  • Lead asset transitions related to acquisitions, commissioning, and operational handoffs with full compliance readiness
  • Deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to internal stakeholders and partnership teams
  • Collaborate across Operations, Finance, Legal, Trading, and Engineering to drive performance improvements and strategic objectives

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum five years of experience in asset management, renewable energy, energy markets, power generation, or a related field
  • Knowledge of North American energy market structures, ISO/RTO operations, and market protocols
  • Experience managing commercial agreements, including power purchase agreements (PPAs), operating agreements, and service agreements
  • Experience supporting financial forecasting, budgeting, business planning, or performance analysis for energy, infrastructure, or operational assets
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience supporting financial or operational analysis
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, coordinate stakeholders, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to present information and recommendations to technical, commercial, and business stakeholders
