Position Summary The Quality Engineer is responsible for driving defect prevention through robust process controls, risk assessment, and data-driven continuous improvement. This position partners closely with Manufacturing Engineering and Operations to develop PFMEAs, Control Plans, process capability improvements, and corrective action systems that improve product quality and manufacturing performance. Key Responsibilities Facilitate PFMEAs and process risk assessments. Develop and maintain Control Plans. Lead root cause and corrective action investigations. Analyze quality trends, escapes, and defect data. Conduct statistical analysis and process capability studies. Develop quality dashboards and metrics. Drive continuous improvement and COPQ reduction initiatives. Support manufacturing readiness and process validation activities. Collaborate with Operations and Manufacturing Engineering. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline. 5+ years of manufacturing or aerospace quality experience. Knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, RCCA, and Lean principles. ASQ CQE certification preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
