In this critical role, you will be the driving force behind optimizing scheduling systems, directly impacting the efficiency and reliability of operational teams that are building the future of mobility. By transforming complex operational needs into robust system configurations, your work will ensure seamless automatic schedule generation, empowering a dynamic workforce to deliver exceptional, groundbreaking service to the world.

What You'll Do

  • Review and analyze existing scheduling system configurations to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement in schedule generation and rule parameters.
  • Collaborate with workforce management teammates and schedulers to understand operational requirements and translate them into actionable recommendations for system configuration.
  • Evaluate and implement appropriate scheduling methods and settings, including patterns, shift assignments, templates, rules, and schedule-generation parameters.
  • Configure and test approved system changes, validating system behavior, reviewing results with stakeholders, and refining configurations as needed.
  • Gather operational scheduling requirements and translate them into precise configuration recommendations or functional specifications for technical partners.
  • Document configuration decisions, testing results, and recommendations to ensure maintainability and continuous improvement of the scheduling setup.
  • Apply your understanding of workforce forecasts and capacity plans to ensure the system configuration accurately consumes demand data and supports scheduling requirements.
  • Analyze workforce scheduling outcomes, identify trends or gaps, and export data via standard reports or CSV to Google Sheets and Excel as needed for targeted operational analysis to support ongoing scheduling initiatives.

What You'll Bring

  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience configuring, optimizing, or administering UKG Pro Workforce Management (UKG Dimensions) Advanced Scheduling, specifically focusing on system configuration and setup rather than just schedule creation.
  • Proven track record of evaluating existing scheduling configurations, identifying inefficiencies, implementing changes, and validating test results.
  • Experience translating complex operational workforce requirements into technical system configuration settings or functional specifications.
  • Working knowledge of workforce forecasting and capacity planning concepts, including how forecasted demand data integrates with UKG to generate automated schedules.
  • 3 to 5 years of total experience in workforce management, scheduling systems analysis, or operations analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, adept at bridging business needs with schedulers, workforce management colleagues, and technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Operations Research, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
