Undergraduate Admissions Job Description
Reporting to the Director of Undergraduate Admissions, the Assistant Director for Visits and Events is responsible for oversight of the daily campus visit program, manages the campus visit team, and coordinates special on-campus recruitment and yield events (e.g. Discover UMKC, Transfer Visit Day, Future Roo Day) and other targeted recruitment efforts for the Office of Admissions. This role develops, manages, implements, and evaluates campus visit and event strategies for first time college students and transfer/adult students, with a focus on supporting university enrollment goals. This position also assists in the day-to-day operation of the Admissions Office, counsels domestic first-time college and transfer students and their families, supports special admissions and retention initiatives, and represents the university at appropriate recruitment functions. Position includes some early morning, weekend, and evening work and may include some travel. Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Preferred Qualifications
Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $60,000 - $67,000 annually. Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck. The University of Missouri provides generous leave, health plans, and retirement contributions that add to your bottom line.
