In accordance with advanced practice standards, the Physician Assistant (PA) is responsible for providing comprehensive health assessment of patients receiving radiation oncology services. The PA is responsible for conducting in-depth interviews with patients and/or family; constructing comprehensive medical histories, performing initial and periodic physical examinations; reviewing imaging; managing the care of patients; following standardized advanced practice procedure guideline; assessing and providing medical care as appropriate for patient care populations; collaborating with attending physician, to utilize context of interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches to patient care. Assignments at this level primarily encompass management of patients who present chronic and/or episodic health problems; and may include responsibility for occasional community teaching programs, participation in program planning and development of patient education information. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $170,652 - $224,815 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $81.73 - $107.67 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). | |
