POSITION SUMMARY
The Electrician is responsible for assembling, installing, wiring, and testing electrical components and systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications, Client's technical drawings, and applicable codes. This role requires safe and efficient use of electrical trade tools, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to complete assigned tasks accurately and on schedule to support production requirements.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
*The Electrician reports directly to the Production Manager.
*This position has no direct reports but collaborates with the Mechanical, Fabrication, and Maintenance teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary Duties
*Use a variety of hand and power tools to assemble, wire, and install electrical components and manufactured parts.
*Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings to complete installations.
*Test assemblies and wiring to ensure functionality and compliance with specifications.
*Ensure assigned work is understood prior to commencing.
*Complete work in a timely, accurate, and safe manner.

Ancillary Duties
*Maintain housekeeping in assigned areas daily.
*Immediately report nonconforming materials or conditions to the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS
Physical Requirements
*Ability to work in varied positions (bent over, stooping, squatting).
*Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs with proper body mechanics.
*Ability to push/pull up to 35 lbs with proper body mechanics.
*Ability to walk throughout shop and yard areas.
*Ability to climb ladders, including those exceeding 12 feet.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
*Safety shoes/boots (hard-toe).
*Hard hat.
*Safety glasses.
*Hearing protection (ear plugs).
*Clothing covering shoulders, torso, and legs.

WORKING CONDITIONS
*Shop and yard environment with exposure to electrical equipment, tools, and moving materials.
*Requires strict adherence to PPE requirements and safety standards.
