Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 5 years relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.

General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for an Advanced Program Performance Management (PPM / EVM) Analyst. The position provides an opportunity to enhance the performance and profitability of an organization that supports some of our nation's fundamental defense services on the Strategic Systems program. General Dynamics Mission Systems employees work closely with esteemed customers to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, MS Project, and PowerPoint
  • Earned Value Management (EVM) or scheduling tool knowledge
  • Solid knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles
  • Experience with program contracts, program management, or functional support processes
  • Experience with program requirements across planning, development, and/or production phases

What you'll experience:

  • Developing and maintaining program time-phased cost and/or schedule baselines within contract parameters
  • Analyzing program performance (historical and predictive), monitoring Estimates at Complete (EAC), and presenting findings to program management
  • Identifying and analyzing critical paths and driving paths to schedule-specific milestones
  • Supporting all necessary program reviews and meetings, including SEITs, Financial, EV Metrics, and Risk reviews
  • Contributing to root cause analyses, corrective actions, and tactical planning for program completion

What you bring to the table:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, MS Project, and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of Earned Value Management systems and scheduling tools
  • Experience collecting, analyzing, and reporting program performance data including budgets, schedules, and staffing requirements
  • Ability to coordinate EAC, risk and opportunity, and Management Reserve data with Finance analysts
  • Experience supporting proposal development activities, including preparation, fact finding, and negotiations

What sets you apart:

  • Domain knowledge in engineering disciplines relevant to Space, Cyber, or Intelligence programs
  • Experience interfacing with external customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams including Contracts, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing
  • Familiarity with IMS, CAM notebook updates, and PPM Dashboard maintenance
  • Experience preparing and presenting customer-required program review documents
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Target salary range: USD $95,000.00/Yr. - USD $105,000.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
