Posting Summary
The Department of Plant Biology at the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences invites applicants for a Lecturer position at New Brunswick/Cook Campus for Fall 2026. The position will be responsible for teaching an introductory plant science course covering plant structure and function, emphasizing plants as integrated living systems from molecules to whole organisms, and highlighting their biological complexity and essential role in sustaining life on Earth. Demonstrated background knowledge in course content is required. Experience with teaching at the undergraduate level in this field and the LMS Canvas are preferred.
The successful incumbent will report to the Undergraduate Program in Plant Science Director and Department Chair, and will be required to administer and instruct the course.
