Naka Patient Care Technician Schedule: Per Diem Pay Range: $19.00 - $25.00 / Hourly Shift: Day shift Hours: 0800-1630 About this role Patient Care Technician - Naka Unit Join a team where your compassion and dedication make a difference every day. As a Patient Care Technician (PCT) on the Naka Unit, you'll play an essential role in supporting our patients and nursing team. Working under the direction of licensed nursing staff, you'll provide direct patient care and assist with daily activities that promote comfort, safety, and recovery. In this role, you will: Provide hands-on patient care and assist with activities of daily living. Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team. Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and positioning. Obtain and document vital signs and other delegated patient care tasks. Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized patient care environment. Work collaboratively with nurses and the interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient-centered care. The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where teamwork is valued. All care is provided under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing personnel and in accordance with Emerson Health policies, Nursing Services standards, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
