Job Description

Summary: Processes preventive and corrective maintenance work orders generated by the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Verifies information on the work orders; applies job plans and instructions when needed; distributes to appropriate supervisor/labor person; schedules work to be completed and updates work order into CMMS when work is completed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may also be assigned.

  • Allianz fire inspection contact person.
  • Processes daily work orders.
  • Generates PM work orders daily.
  • Weekly schedule Meeting with departments.
  • Weekend work order schedule.
  • Coordinates and plans Shut Down schedules and work orders.
  • Creates PM's and Job Plans to support the operation of the plant.
  • Reviews PMs to catch none completed and not cycling. Schedules 3rd party PM's.
  • Work order data collection entry.
  • Attends daily meetings with maintenance manager, daily logbook issues.
  • Manages motor and steel storage areas.
  • Creates purchase requests for all the above and other maintenance material.
  • Fosters positive work relationships.
  • Observes all Company, housekeeping, safety and plant policies and procedures.
  • Has strong written, oral, communication and facilitation skills.
  • Fosters a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Addresses errors, problems, and complaints within scope of authority.
  • Keeps Maintenance Manager informed of important matters as they arise.

Supervisory Responsibilities: There are no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience: Associate degree or 1-2 years related experience and/or training required; OR an equivalent combination of related education and/or experience.
