Centennial Peaks Hospital has been providing psychiatric services to the Denver-metro area for more than 30 years. Located in beautiful Louisville, CO, our 104-bed facility provides a peaceful setting for those seeking treatment for mental illness including chemical dependency. Centennial Peaks offers unique and individualized programming for adults that sets us apart from many other treatment facilities. Our dynamic leadership team includes a seasoned nursing department. Our hospital is fortunate to provide Electroconvulsive Therapy, Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization Programs in addition to inpatient services.

Come join our team and love what you do! We are currently hiring a Director of Plant Operations for Centennial Peaks Hospital! The Director of Plant Operations (DPO) is responsible for the overall quality and safety of the physical facility including developing, implementing, and maintaining policies and procedures that meet all regulatory and compliance needs to create a safe environment for patients, employees, and visitors. The DPO manages and organizes the operations of the facility, including IT, housekeeping and dietary, while maintaining compliance with all applicable codes, standards of government, and regulatory agencies. This position is part of the leadership team, and as such, develops and maintains good working relationships with all other departments.

Job Duties/Responsibilites:

  • Responsible for the ongoing, effective operation of the Plant and ongoing assessment and improvement of all services
  • Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and controls the operations of the Maintenance department.
  • Maintains compliance with applicable regulatory agency requirements, including Joint Commission Standards, Life Safety Code, NFPA, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), State and Local agencies and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
  • Manages staff and contractors to adequately to ensure and maintain the efficient and safe operation of all hospital buildings.
  • Plans, predicts, maintains and repairs building and equipment. Utilizes energy management and tracking tools in order to maintain efficient utility operations.
  • Develops and manages operating and capital budgets.
  • Able to communicate in a clear and concise manner.
  • Computer/Software programs: Type 35+ WPM, Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to learn specialized plant management systems and data entry.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Education: Degree in facility management or related field preferred; or equivalent in related experience.

Experience: A minimum of four (4) years related experience, at least one year of management experience, and thorough knowledge and experience with Joint Commission accreditation, reading blueprints and understand Life Safety Code and OSHA Regulations along with Title 22 and Title 24 knowledge.

Certification: Certification in plant management preferred.
