The Opportunity with McKinstry

We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to support our Essention DER team. This role is responsible for leading successful outcome for assigned Key, complex portfolio of projects. This position will oversee construction phase of assigned projects including internal resources, Subcontractors, Vendors, safety compliance, cash management, client billings, monthly forecast projections, scope, schedule, and budget. They will execute and manage contract requirements and ensure client satisfaction. Additional responsibilities will may include:

  • Lead the planning and execution of large, complex DER construction projects.

  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.

  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, permitting, regulatory requirements, and environmental standards, including securing and maintaining specific GC state and local licenses.

  • Coordinate across cross-functional teams to drive project success.

  • dentify and mitigate risks impacting project cost, timeline, safety, and quality.

  • Execute construction quality control plans.

  • Lead large, complex DER projects.

What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry

  • Bachelor's Degree.

  • 12+ years in construction project management, required DER experience.

  • Knowledge & Skills: construction scheduling, advanced financial acumen, project budgeting, risk management, team leadership and mentorship, vendor / subcontractor management, contract authority / contract compliance, Solar, EV, BESS.

The pay range for this position is$126,900 - $217,200 hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
