As a Commercial Real Estate Relationship Manager, you will grow and manage a portfolio of commercial and commercial real estate clients while helping businesses achieve their financial goals. In this role, you'll build strong client relationships, identify growth opportunities, and connect customers with the full range of Associated Bank solutions. This position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on business growth while expanding your expertise across commercial banking products and services.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial banking relationships to increase loans, deposits, and fee income.

  • Drive new business development through prospecting, networking, and referrals from centers of influence.

  • Partner with internal teams to deliver tailored banking solutions and expand client relationships.

  • Analyze financial information and collaborate on credit recommendations and loan structures.

  • Maintain strong portfolio quality by ensuring compliance with credit policies, risk standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Present loan opportunities and participate in the credit approval process.

  • Provide clients with financial guidance and insights on banking and business trends.

  • Build community presence through networking, professional organizations, and local business involvement.

Education & Experience

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 5+ years of commercial banking or business-to-business sales experience.

  • Proven business development, relationship management, and credit analysis skills.

  • Experience with commercial banking products and client portfolio management.

  • Reliable transportation and the ability to travel locally as needed.

Preferred

  • 7+ years of commercial banking or business-to-business sales experience.

  • Demonstrated success growing commercial relationships and expanding non-credit banking services.

  • Experience partnering across multiple business lines to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
