Job Overview

The Onboarding Experience Manager is responsible for designing, delivering, and continuously improving the programs that set teammates up for success - whether they are joining Coca-Cola Consolidated for the first time or stepping into a new role. This role sits at the intersection of business knowledge, adult learning expertise, and high-impact facilitation - ensuring every teammate understands not just their role, but the culture, values, and day-to-day expectations of their role.

This is a highly facilitative role. You will spend significant time leading onboarding experiences with new teammates - and an equal amount of time behind the scenes auditing content, developing on-the-job training for key roles, partnering with subject matter experts, and ensuring our programs stay current, relevant, and aligned with how the business actually works.

Duties & Responsibilities

Onboarding Program Ownership

  • Own the design, facilitation, and continuous improvement of onboarding programs across the enterprise, ensuring a consistent and high-quality new hire experience
  • Serve as the primary facilitator for onboarding classes, leading sessions with energy, clarity, and a commitment to adult learning principles
  • Partner with HR, operations, and business leaders to ensure onboarding content accurately reflects how the business runs - not just how it is documented
  • Monitor program compliance and participation, identifying and resolving gaps before they impact the teammate experience

Content Relevance and Quality Auditing

  • Conduct regular audits of onboarding and related learning content to assess accuracy, relevance, and alignment with current business practices
  • Work directly with subject matter experts across Sales, Operations, Finance, and People functions to validate and refresh curriculum
  • Identify outdated, redundant, or missing content and lead the effort to update, retire, or develop new materials accordingly
  • Maintain a documented audit cadence and version control process to ensure content integrity over time

On-the-Job Training Development and Auditing

  • Partner with operational leaders and subject matter experts to develop on-the-job training materials for key roles across the enterprise, ensuring content reflects real-world workflows and expectations
  • Audit existing OJT content on a regular cadence to assess accuracy, role-relevance, and alignment with current processes, identifying gaps and leading efforts to update or rebuild as needed
  • Collaborate with frontline managers to support consistent OJT delivery in the field, providing guidance on best practices and coaching where application falls short of intent
  • Ensure OJT materials are accessible, clearly structured, and easy for managers and teammates to use without requiring additional interpretation

Business Understanding and Partnership

  • Develop a deep understanding of Coca-Cola Consolidated's business model, market structure, and operational priorities in order to contextualize learning meaningfully for new teammates
  • Build strong working relationships with leaders across the organization to stay current on business changes that should be reflected in onboarding programs
  • Translate complex business concepts into accessible, engaging learning experiences appropriate for a diverse teammate population
  • Serve as a credible advisor to leadership on onboarding strategy, surfacing insights and trends from the new hire experience

Measurement and Continuous Improvement

  • Establish and track key metrics that reflect onboarding effectiveness, including time-to-productivity, satisfaction scores, and early retention data
  • Use data and feedback to drive regular program improvements, connecting learning outcomes to business performance
  • Communicate results and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, compelling way that reinforces the value of strong onboarding

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Exceptional facilitation skills - comfortable leading sessions of all sizes with confidence and presence
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to quickly understand operational environments and translate them into relevant learning
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple programs and priorities without sacrificing quality
  • Collaborative relationship-builder who influences without authority and earns trust at all levels
  • Clear, confident communicator in writing, in conversation, and on your feet in front of a room
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with LMS platforms and e-learning tools a plus

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate engaging, effective learning experiences for diverse audiences across all levels of an organization
  • Proven track record auditing and improving learning content in a fast-paced, operationally complex business environment
  • Grounding in adult learning principles, instructional design, and learning technology platforms

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred

Work Environment

This role requires travel up to 50% of the time across multiple Coca-Cola Consolidated territories to support facilitation, content auditing, and business partnership activities. Teammates in this role should expect extended periods of standing during facilitation sessions, work in varied environments based on location needs, and regular use of standard office technology and tools.

Equal Opportunity Employer - All qualified applicants will be considered for employment without regard to disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
