Job Description

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure financial stability for the Division of IT. This includes providing data/reporting for budgeting, forecasting, and variances. Provide summarized financial reports and supporting documents. Ensure financial data is appropriately coded. Routine accounting functions such as billings, reconciliations, accounts payables and yearly material and equipment inventories. Building administration duties as needed.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Track and monitor revenues and expenses by reviewing, collecting and verifying data. Development of reports to ensure that revenues and expenses are appropriate and within budgetary limits and/or expectations. Auditing monthly reconciliation reports to PS financial systems.

Analyze and interpret financial data to support strategic decision-making. Perform financial forecasting and variance analysis on divisional accounts. Provide forecasting reports for the leadership team.

Assist with creation and management of IT budgets for both the UM system and MU campus. This includes the development of rates/fees for services provided.

Review, audit, and process various financial documents. This includes OneCard expense reports and reimbursement transactions. Prepare journal entries for transfers and expense corrections. Ensure that billings to other Schools/Colleges/Divisions are accurate and complete.

Serve as a financial/business liaison to internal divisional team and with external partners to resolve routine financial or accounting matters.

Monitoring TDX tickets to process requests and make changes/corrections in the Billing Portal. Monitoring, Billing and Crediting student accounts for print smart usage and laptop rentals.

Accounts Payable functions to include receiving, reviewing, reconciling and processing vouchers for monthly invoices. Complete requisitions for purchase order processing. Processing various other payments to vendors as needed.

Shift

Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

Staff will be required to be on-premises at a minimum of 1 day per week. These days/times will be set up and approved on an individual basis with the Director/Associate Director. These dates/times may vary week to week depending on the project schedules and time of year.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Must live in Missouri.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Accounting, Financial Analysis, Bookkeeping, Forecasting and Budget Development. Advanced experience with Excel and/or other financial software programs.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $53,976.00 - $84,347.00 per year Commensurate with experience
