Overview
Microsoft is looking for an experienced privacy attorney to join our Corporate, External, and Legal Affairs (CELA) team as a Principal Corporate Counsel for Privacy, Advocacy and Regulatory Affairs (PARA). PARA is responsible for advancing Microsoft's data protection and privacy strategy by engaging with regulators, customers, and other external stakeholders as well as engineering and business groups internally. PARA also develops and maintains the Microsoft Privacy Standard and contributes to core privacy governance and compliance functions. Responsibilities

Legal Counsel IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $132,200.00 - $232,800.00 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,800.00 - $248,600.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
