Join a growing team of professionals supporting organizations in overcoming complex challenges to reliably achieve their mission. This position will support BC's national Advisory Services team in delivering client facing organizational effectiveness services and solutions, developing new business opportunities, and advancing best practice approaches to work.

ThePrincipal Business Consultant roleis responsible forleadingprojects that includecomprehensive assessments, analyses, development and implementation of transformation strategies and implementation plans for our client's businesses.Project elements can includestrategic planning, organizational development, comprehensive planning, policy and procedure development, business process mapping, evaluation and development, and change management efforts. This role focusesonleadingoverall project deliveryteams, solvingcomplex problems, and providing guidance and training to less experienced colleagues, with minimal direct supervision and limited oversight from management. The position plays a vital role incontributing to the advancement oftechnical practice areasthrough contributions to standardsand best practice contentdevelopment. This roleleadsprojects of strategic importance, and balancesrisk and opportunity inclient businessplandecision-making processes.



Responsibilities



  • Leadtargeted and/or comprehensive business assessments and development of implementation strategies and plans for our clients to enhance their operations and efficiency.


  • Leadefforts to support Client's development of comprehensive planning approaches and practices that connect strategic goals andobjectivesto implementation.


  • Lead development ofguidelines, processes, and procedures for client assigned functional areas to bolster operational efficiency and effectiveness.


  • Leadorganizational development and management services for clients to achieve organizational excellence.


  • Identifyand assesspotential risks to both BC and clientorganization,andensure proper governance and policy development.


  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of company standards and best practices.


  • Flexibility to adapt and execute variousadditionalassignments based on evolving needs.

Experience



  • Typically, a minimum of10 years of relevant experience in a similarrole.


  • Prior experience in leading projects.


  • Experience in analyzing organizational and business needs, organizational development, and change management.


  • Typically certified in the SMS Framework, and progressingthrough the SMS competencies.



Education



  • A relevant degree or equivalent experience in business administration, management,communicationsor a related field.



Preferred Skills and Experience



  • Experience in developing and documenting workflows and business processes.


  • Experience in developing integrated (people, process, technology) business solutions to improve performance.


  • Experience in developing guidelines and standards to drive consistency in work approach and associated outcomes including quality.



Salary Range: The anticipated starting pay range for this position is based on the employee's primary work location and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education. These ranges may be modified in the future.

Location A: $117,000 - $159,000
Location B: $128,000 - $175,000
Location C: $140,000 - $191,000
